Mission & Values

We are dedicated to provided opportunities for all young people to live a better life. Our donations are given to all children in need, without regard to their race, religion, or background. We strive to create a better world, and we thank all of you for helping us to achieve that. 

We were founded in May 2023, by Ron Burgin and Travis Machalek and a number of other supporters, who grew up to love the region of Estes Park and the game of youth basketball. Coach Ron and Coach Travis head up the girls basketball program at the local high school and aim to encourage skills development through year-round basketball camps, practices and traveling teams to better prep the incoming kids for sports at the next levels.

Executive Director

Meet Coach Ron Burgin, our executive director, the a seasoned basketball mentor who brings a wealth of experience to the court as the head girls coach at Estes Park High School. With a remarkable background in both Colorado and Texas, Coach Burgin's passion for the game is palpable.


Having previously made his mark as an assistant coach at the University of Colorado, Coach Burgin is no stranger to success. His leadership at ThunderRidge High School resulted in a triumphant victory at the 2003 Colorado 5A State Championship, coupled with a national ranking for the team. A recipient of multiple coaching accolades, including Rocky Mountain News All-Colorado Coach of the Year and Denver Post 5A Coach of the Year, Coach Burgin's dedication to his players' growth extends beyond the court. He's not only a basketball guru but also an educator, having taught psychology, health, and physical education.


Drawing from a diverse educational background, Coach Burgin holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas and a master's of science in kinesiology from Midwestern State University. As he guides the Estes Park High School girls' basketball team, Coach Burgin continues to inspire young athletes, fostering both their skills and their love for the game.
